Sharley the Sea Turtle a haiku story about Love of Sea Turtle Conservation by Andi Fraley * hard cover version

Sharley the Sea Turtle was created in response to my volunteer turtle tracking experiences.  During evening beach clean ups, I met many visitors of all ages, who seemed to have the same general questions and heart felt concern and curiosities about the sea turtles, the beach and the ocean. 

This haiku story is written and illustrated by me and is intended to be an educational tool.  I sincerely hope this story helps to shine some light on the challenges the sea turtles face in their cycle of life and what we humans may do raise our awareness to help them and love them.  

Watercolor painting illustrations from this book are featured on textiles for "art to wear" scarves, sarongs and and bandanas!!

*this book is named after Sharley Princessa Sassafras, aka Sharley Bear, Coconut Bear, Adventure Girlie, Sweet P, who walked the beaches with me and loved making sand angels in the sand, walking and sniffing all along the way with me! With infinite love for my Goldie bear xxx
