I work as a registered architect and project director having a master's degree from the university of colorado and a bachelor of fine arts, double major in studio art and anthropology from sweet briar college.
I am NCARB certified and an accredited professional in leadership in energy and environmental design (LEED BD+C AP) specializing in building design and construction.
to balance my technical focus, I design large format multi media illuminated panel installations, inventive ceiling and wall systems and most of all, I LOVE to write, illustrate, create art to give a voice to animals and aspects in the environment for conservation and preservation.
at my core, I am 24/7/365 animal lover who supports animal, ocean and environmental conservation programs. my current work is focused on private label scarf collections inspired by my love of nature and animal conservation.

fifth book: Coexist; to love and live with Elephants is a haiku story book written for the Elephants of West Bengal and is aspirational to help raise awareness to ease their current situation. This book is currently being translated to Bengali.
forth book: Sharley the Sea Turtle was created to raise awareness and provide educational insight after volunteer "turtle tracking" experiences. This book is based on love for sea turtles and ocean conservation.
third book: Hemingway’s Cats, which is a haiku story about the polydactyl cats of the Hemingway Home in Key West, Florida.
second book: Our Key West Home and is a haiku story about Rhett and Scarlett, the residents of The Key West Butterfly and Nature Conservatory.
Her first book Journey From Grief: Life Transformation after Loss was written after experiencing the sudden loss of her fiance while on holiday in 2011. This book aims to aid others who have also experienced shocking and unexpected loss in order to live again with purpose and renewed joy.
